2. Information We Collect

• Contact information: Email address provided at checkout for payment confirmation and report delivery.
• Payment information: Processed entirely by our payment processor. We do not store your card details.
• Uploaded documents: Property documents you upload for analysis (purchase agreements, LIM reports, building inspections, etc.).
• Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver the property analysis report you purchased
• Send your report to your email address
• Respond to your support or refund requests
• Improve service quality and AI analysis accuracy
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Document and Data Security

Your uploaded documents are processed in a secure cloud environment and held only in temporary memory during analysis. Documents are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete. Analysis results are retained for up to 30 days to allow re-delivery if needed, then permanently deleted.

Your document text is transmitted to our AI analysis provider via an encrypted connection for processing. The provider processes this data according to its API data usage policies and does not use API-submitted data to train its models.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate our service:

• Payment processor: To securely handle your payment transaction.
• AI analysis provider: To process your document text and generate the analysis report.
• Cloud infrastructure provider: To host and run the application securely.
• Email delivery service: To send your report to your inbox.

All providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies only — those required for the website to function (e.g., session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics platforms.

7. Data Retention

• Documents: Deleted immediately after analysis completes.
• Report results: Retained for up to 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• Email address: Retained for up to 12 months for support purposes, then deleted.
• Payment records: Retained as required by accounting law (typically 7 years).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. International Data Transfers

As a service operated by a Hong Kong company using international cloud infrastructure, your data may be processed outside of New Zealand. We ensure that such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable privacy requirements.

Our service is intended for adults (18+) purchasing or evaluating residential property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
